Reducing friction

Friction is the resistance between you wanting to complete a task that gets you towards your end goal and you sitting down and getting the work done.

Here are a few tips to help you reduce friction in your life:

  1. It's about your environment around you

  2. Create habit stacks for tasks you need to complete, have a morning coffee and sending cold emails

  3. Regular good night sleep is the new caffeine

  4. Think about what will happen if you don't achieve your goal. Trying to get away from something that scares you - creates ambition

  5. Working smarter, not harder. Automate tasks and create databases of notes of everything you need to remember

  6. Departmentalize your life, have a space for work, a space for fun, a place for meeting up with friends

  7. Create a calendar of your ideal week, create time slots every week to work on certain projects, having a date and meeting up with friends

  8. Being empathetic and less stressed - this is hard, but makes life a lot easier
